did you pull the clock/radio fuse for 10 seconds to reset CPU?

 

^^fail lol all u gotta do is disconnect the 10 fuse under the Hood to reset the computer lol

 

^You could do that or you could save some time and just pull the clock/radio fuse in the under hood fuse box for 10 seconds to reset the ecu.

If you reset it already and the code is still there, I'd try switching out your ecu for a known good one to see if the code comes back.

 

Yea cleared the code. Still keeps coming back. Ok. Well there's no other prludes around where im from and a new ecu costs $800 from the local dealer. Any other ecu's from lie a accord with a f22 will work? And if the ecu was bad would the car still run?

 

Hmmnn .. when u swapped out the dizzy did u do the whole thing like the rotating am and bracket or just the cap? Cuz that sensor ur looking at code 9 is that metal 6 shaped hing behind everything when I got that code it tuned out that it came loose

 

I bought a whole brand new dizzy from the dealer. I got a bad negative battery cable that's barley on there but the car still runs fine beside that one sensor being bad. Think that could cause it?

 

Alright i had the same problem. i replaced the dizzy, the whole thing, and still got the code. I swapped my P12(F22A1) ecu, with a chipped p28 ecu and BAM, code was gone.

yup! the p12 was a little more aggressively tuned then the accords.....i think.....maybe its the other way around. but they will work.

nope, i doubt it. if you have a volt meter or what ever they are called, you could check and see if its good or bad.

I had that same issue when my car wasnt cranking the code would throw because the engine wasnt turning it wasnt getting a signal from the sensor. Is your engine turning over?

 

Yeah my car rolls over, and runs and drives. the sensors making it hesitate and misfire. its quite annoying.lol.

 

running a p12 on an h22 was probably one of my biggest mistakes. it runs SOOO lean i litterally fouled my plugs in 2 weeks. its not a good idea. just get a p28 or a p06 converted to p28.

 

Oh whoa yea im sorry, i didn't see that you had the h23 engine. running a sohc ecu might be bad for it, i would just try to find a p14.

 

Ok, Now i just need to try to find one in my price range. And hopfuly that will fix my problem. Cause this is so annoying having to listin to a misfire every 10 seconds.lol

 

Update: New ECU is in the mail. Should be herein 5-10days. Just got another stock one to see if that fix's the problem,If not ill have a spare just incase.lol. Ill keep ya's posted on how its going and if it works or not.

 

Update: ECU will be in tomorrow. Will put it in and Let ya know how it goes. Wish me luck =]

 

Well new ecu came in, Got it installed and the cel went away. Shes running good just need to do a tune up on her now. thanks guys for all your help.

Thanks, i know i think it was cause by bad weather stripping on the windsheild cause its peeled up in the coners, cause the ecu had water damage to it. but now iv ran into another snag...

Shes bogs a bit on take off not much low end tourq it feels like. i think this could be cause from the header gasket being blown out so its got a leak from the header witch would explain the no low end tourq cause theres not shit for back pressure.
