need more info... what kind of prelude/what kind of integra?? what years? any mod on either car?
Ditto, Depends on year and trim level. A 99 Prelude would rape a 92 integ, a 99 integ GSR would rape a 91 Prelude.

how much does a 99gsr in good cond. usually cost?
In Virginia/DC/MD a 99GSR with lets say like 50,000 miles(which is average for that year) would run $16K - $18K from a dealer and maybe $15K - $17K from a private seller. Depends on condition as much as mileage. That is a damn nice little car though man, I would be driving one if they didn't make 5th Gen ludes. BTW 5th Gen Preludes for the same year and miles run about the same price, why not go for the gold and get the Lude? :D

I raced my friends 98 GSR the very first night I had my car(95 SE). Both our cars were stock and I was just learning how to drive a stick, while my friend had been driving a stick for years. We pulled up to a light and when it turned green, it was on. I actually took him by a good couple of feet till we hit bout 60 mph, then he started to pull away a bit. It was close and damn fun.

the only integra that can beat an h22 5speed would be a type r. and if u can drive the type r wouldn't win by much. when my car was stock i beat 3 gsr's. two of the were the 95 gsr's (faster due to obd1).

From my experiences, this is true...The stock H22's will take any GSR with the basic bolt ons I/H/E...A few summers ago I raced a del sol with the B16 vtec engine and a 55 shot of nos with my stock 97 lude (now sold) and beat him three times in a row from: dead stop, rolling start, and dead start again...Those del sol must be much heavier than the GSR's...I believe that the vtec motors in those del sol are good for 170hp...Correct me if I am wrong...

dont get me wrong I think Type Rs are badass but theyre not as fast as everyone thinks. It'd be a real close race. LOD

I got a few buddys that have tegs , i have 3 friends that have 91-92"s and thet all have i/h/e and all are 5sp , and the fasest runs 15.8. I got a buddy with a 95 Ls with i/h/e and cam gears and runs 15.4. I think a 3rd genearation with the same mods would beat a 89-93 integra Gs or LS. As for the newer LS"s , it would depend on the Mods , because my boys is preety quick, but he did race a 91 Si lude that gude cams , i/h/e cam gears and pulley kit and he lost by a car, it all depends on the driver really , i know the older tegs are to fast though unless there a GSR

89si lude VS 91ls integra (question)

Does anybody know the outcome of a 892.0si lude and a 91integra ls?

The reason is that i have a 89 2.0si lude and my friend has the 91 integra ls and he always beats me, BUT I think there is something wrong with my lude. Can my lude be the problem.

My lude has b21a1 tranny, Intake, exhaust,no cat converter, 17" rims(icw racing), cut shifter.

My friend has gs tranny with new stock clutch, intake, exhaust, coilovers, 17" rims, shortshifter

I never raced a GS or GSR, but I have beaten two LS tegs. One was an older model. Probably close to 91. That was a highway race. we took it from 75 on. Began walking him through mid 70's in 4th and I shut it down at 105.

Just recently, I raced my friends 01 LS teg. Bone stock. This was on an onramp. 0-56 he kept up okay, after my shift into third, I began walking him. by 90ish, I had gained maybe 4 car lengths on him.

My only mods are an intake and exhaust. My car is old, but it still kicks ass.
